Ready to reclaim it?
Includes lunch and a digital copy of Becoming the Man Marriage Demands

Think back to the beginning.
The conversations about the future. The life you imagined building together. The home, the family, the experiences you would share. The kind of couple you hoped you would become.
You had a mental picture of what your marriage could be. You believed in it. You wanted it.
So what happened between then and now?
Perhaps the love is still there. But life has become a routine of schedules, bills and who’s fetching whom. You sit in the same room, each with a screen. And there’s the argument, the one you could both recite word for word, because you’ve had it so many times it has its own script. Or your marriage is good in many ways, but deep down, you know it could be more.
And you’ve wondered, even if you’ve never said it aloud:
Can we still build the dream we so believed in? Or a new version of it?
What if the dream isn’t the problem? What if there’s something about marriage they never told you? Something you haven’t yet understood?

Discover what your marriage can become
Early bird from R750 per person until 14 November 2026.
Most of us enter marriage believing that love, commitment, hard work and good intentions will help us build the marriage we desire.
And these things matter.
But what if there’s something bigger that can make that exciting and thriving marriage possible? What if marriage is doing something in your life that nobody ever made you aware of?
What if the difficulties you keep encountering are revealing something important, not just about your relationship, but about what you are becoming?
What if there’s a deeper purpose to marriage, and understanding it could change how you see your spouse, yourself and the future you can build together?
These are not questions about finding another technique to manage disagreements or trying harder to make things work.
They point to a different way of seeing marriage altogether.
Because marriage is more than a relationship to manage. It is a developmental tool with multiple levels. This understanding can open up new possibilities for a thriving marriage.
There’s a question every husband should be willing to consider.
What is the one critical blind spot that many men have about marriage?
A man can be responsible. He can work hard, provide for his family, love his wife and remain committed to his marriage.
He can do many things right and still miss this one essential thing.
Not because he doesn’t care. Not because he isn’t trying. For the most part, it sits in his blind spot.
What might change if he could see it?
This is about discovering something that could change how a man understands himself, his wife and the marriage they are building together.
Find out what the blind spot is. More importantly, discover what becomes possible when you begin to see differently.
At What Marriage Demands, you’ll explore these questions, challenge familiar assumptions and discover a different perspective on marriage and the people within it. You’ll leave with:
Above all, you’ll leave with renewed hope that your marriage can become more than it is today, and a better understanding of how to move towards that possibility.
You don’t have to be in crisis to invest in your marriage.
This day is for you if:
You’ve tried to work through the challenges, but some things keep returning. You want to understand what’s happening and discover a better way forward.
Life works reasonably well, but the connection, excitement or sense of possibility you once had seems to have faded. You sense there is more, but you aren’t sure how to get there.
You value what you have, but you refuse to assume that good enough is the best your marriage can become.
You may have very different reasons for attending. You may even see your marriage differently from your spouse.
That’s okay.
You don’t need to agree on every problem before you come. You need to be willing to explore what your marriage could become.
This is not a day to identify which spouse is at fault or decide who needs fixing. It is an opportunity to discover a different perspective together.
Come curious. Be open to what you might discover.
How about making a pact to turn this into a date? When was the last time you planned a whole day together? Not a quick dinner between commitments. Not an outing where one of you is checking messages while the other talks.
We’re talking about a day away at Tiveka Game Lodge. Lunch included. No chores waiting at home. No school runs. No rushing off to the next appointment.
Just the two of you, a change of scenery and a chance to spend time on something that matters.
And yes, you’ll be doing more than enjoying the setting. You’ll be exploring some important questions about the marriage you have and the one you still want to build.
A game lodge. Lunch for two. A fresh perspective on your marriage. Sounds like a date worth keeping, doesn’t it?
Now, how do you invite your spouse?
“I’ve found us something different for Saturday, 12 December. A day at a game lodge, lunch included, and time for just us. Let’s make a date of it. Are you in?”
M Daniel Maine
You’ve succeeded before. You know you have something to offer. But what do you do when the things that once worked no longer do?
M Daniel Maine challenges people to see differently so they can rebuild their ability to produce the results they desire.
He works with people who used to do well and are now stuck.
That perspective is at the heart of What Marriage Demands: helping couples look beyond familiar explanations, recognise what they may have been missing, and discover new possibilities for what they can build together.
Becoming the Man Marriage Demands

A digital copy is included with every ticket, made available at or immediately after the event. The day stays focused. The book gives you the full thinking behind it.

Early bird until 14 November 2026: Standard R750 | VIP R1,800 per person
It is a practical workshop, not a seminar. There is no long line of speakers. M Daniel Maine shares a framework, and you work with it through guided group discussions, the way good business schools teach: by talking through real situations together.
The emphasis is on interaction. Common marriage challenges are worked through in the group, using the framework, so you see them from more than one angle and leave with insight you can act on.
These are practical discussions about applying what you learn to everyday married life. They are not therapy or counselling.
